Zivney to Represent the Security Industry Association (SIA)
Regarding HSPD-12 Implementation Progress
SANTA ANA, CA, April 8, 2008 -- Mr. Rob Zivney, vice president of marketing for Hirsch Electronics, a leading manufacturer of access control and security management solutions, will represent the Security Industry Association (SIA) before the US House Subcommittee on Oversight and Government Reform regarding implementation progress of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12). Signed into law by President Bush in 2004, HSPD-12 requires all federal government employees and contractors to have a trusted identity badge for both physical and logical access.
