The VELOCITY™
course is four days (Monday
through Thursday) and is held at Hirsch Electronics corporate
headquarters at 1900-B Carnegie Avenue, Santa Ana, California
92705.
PREREQUISITES:
Comfortable navigating in Windows with a keyboard and
a mouse.
COURSE
OBJECTIVE: This four day class will provide Operators, Administrators
and Dealers the basic skills to navigate within Velocity, use
documentation and Help for reference and to perform common tasks
expected of a Velocity Operator or Administrator. These tasks include:
DIGI*TRAC Configuration Overview (naming points, downloading, Photo
Call-up, Door Timers, Time Zone Control of relays); setting
Preferences, using the Alarm, Event and Status Viewers, defining Time
Zones, Holidays, Enrollment Manager (adding People and their
Credentials - codes and cards), running Reports, Operators and Operator
Groups, and Backup and Restore of the Database.
WHO
SHOULD ATTEND: Operators, Administrators and Dealers who are
responsible for day-to-day operation, and or maintenance of the
Velocity system. Sales people and Management may want to attend for a
better understanding of system features and functions.

INCLUDED:
Each student will receive hands-on training with Velocity
connected to a DIGI*TRAC™ Model 8 Controller. A
training manual and necessary supplies will be provided.
Each student will be on their own for lunch.
