The Velocity Installation
course is two days (Thursday and Friday) and is held at Hirsch Electronics
corporate headquarters at 1900-B Carnegie Avenue,
Santa Ana, California 92705.
PREREQUISITES:
The student must be comfortable with installing and
troubleshooting desktop operating systems such as Windows
2000 XP, or 2003. The student should
possess a basic understanding of computer networking
and related concepts. The student should possess knowledge
of related tools such as Windows Explorer, common accessories,
and utilities.
COURSE
OBJECTIVE: This course is designed to give
the attendee the ability to install and Configure Velocity.
Topics to be covered in the class are as follows: Windows
2003 Server, Windows XP Professional,
SNIB, SNIB2, NetMux4, SNet connections, XNet connections, XBox,
installing Velocity, and adding ports and controllers to Velocity.
WHO
SHOULD ATTEND: This course is specifically
designed for those who will be installing Velocity
in the near future.

Included:
Each student will receive hands on training with a Velocity
computer connected to a DIGI*TRAC Model 8 controller. Each student
will be on their own for lunch.
